ANTIQUE DOLL CHAIR
IN THE CLASSICAL STYLE WITH
HANDCARVED AMERICAN EAGLE
A wonderful find & the
perfect accessory to furnish
seating for your early dolls
in a lovely period setting.
Handcarved & finely-detailed
American eagle with spread
wings carved in miniature of
the Classical/Federal styles
prevalent in the late 18th &
early 19th centuries. Hard,
cherry wood with orig. dark
finish, it has the curved
back splat & saber legs
found on the orig.
full-sized pieces. I
believe this piece to be at
least 80 years old; although
done in a much earlier, &
favoured furniture style.
Full attention has been
given to carved detail; even
the saber legs have fine
feathered carving
reminiscent of ancanthus
leaf & other foliage
representation. Upholstered
seat is in excellent
condition & the fabric shows
appropriate age; fabric is
cream with Colonial blue
stripe & patterns of roses.
Chair measures 16" tall &
the seat is 7 1/2" from the
floor. The width of the
chair graduates from 8 to 8
1/2" wide. A gorgeous piece
of desirable furniture, I
have shown it displayed with
a 18" Paris bebe to give an
idea of size, scale, &

ANTIQUE/VINTAGE CHILDS'
DINNER SERVICE FOR ONE
Adorable accessory to display with
your larger bisque dolls.
Consisting of three pieces---a
plate, handled cup, & a saucer,
the dishes feature a highly-glazed
finish with applied decal
decoration of different scenes
depicting yellow chicks. The
plate features a chick nesting in
marshy grasses; one on each side
of the plate, which measures 7"
diameter. The saucer features a
yellow chick just hatched,
standing near the broken eggshell
with a cluster of flowers nearby;
same picture on each side of
saucer which is 4 3/4" diameter.
The 3" diameter cup features the
same pattern as the saucer but
depicts the chick only on one
side. No chips, cracks, or
damage; lovely bright colours &
sweet childlike pattern.

ANTIQUE BONNET WITH
ORIGINAL TRIMS
Beautiful, lavish
antique woven bonnet;
most likely horsehair,
in exc. condition,
featuring an
elaborate, open-weave
with alternating fancy
decorative bands
resembling
intricately-woven
straw, lavishly trimmed
with
the original millinery
florals consisting of
clusters of pale cream
& ivory orange
blossoms, buds &
stems, alternating
with black netting &
several delicately
folded & arranged
black grosgrain ribbon
bows. The horsehair
gives it a desirable,
stiffened shape but it
also has some "give"
to accept varying head
sizes. Inside, the
bonnet is trimmed with
the original brown
netting. Measuring 7"
from side to side and
7" from bottom to top
of inside brim, it is

24" SFBJ doll to give

ANTIQUE ROSE BEADED
NECKLACE WITH DOG CHARM
Precious, antique Jumeau-type
necklace in a charming,
unusual design featuring
rose beads strung on a gold
chain; similar to the way
rosary beads are strung,
with an adorable, detailed
"gold" charm of a dog. The
dog may be of a slighter
later period than the
necklace itself, but it does
look as if it was always
made to be part of the
necklace. Measuring 10"

ANTIQUE SET CORAL PIERCED EARRINGS & BROOCH
Coral was
very popular in the Georgian & Victorian periods
to give to babies & children to wear as it was
believed to ward off illness & death & thereby
offer some protection to the precious children
of the times. This beautiful antique set
consists of a pair of drop coral earrings & a 1"
coral brooch. The coral brooch has a "natural"
design that was popular in the early-to-mid
19th-century, & the setting entwines the coral
piece with a twisted, & chased gold setting(I am
unsure if it is rolled, filled or karat gold).
The T-bar & C-clasp on the back are evidence of
a mid-19th-century or earlier piece. A
wonderful set originally-intended for a baby or
young girl, now perfect for your antique French
bebes or German girls. This would even look
lovely if you kept the earrings set aside & only
used the antique brooch for one of your baby or
poured wax child dolls---it would be very
appropriate to the period & in keeping with the
old tradition of dressing babies & children in

SET OF THREE PRINTED, STUFFED CHICKS, PAT.
1892
A
wonderful set of three, antique stuffed,
printed cotton chicks. All three are handsewn
& stuffed, each of a different design and in
pristine conditon. On the bottom of each,
which is hard & flat so they can stand freely,
is the marking "Pat. July 5 '92 and Oct 4
'92". Some of the photos will show them
displayed with different china dolls; one 20"
tall and the other 25" tall, to give an idea
of size, scale, and display options. (The
antique printed bunny candy container the
chicks are "riding" in is offered in these
pages separately). The tallest chick sits
upright with her beak in the air, measuring 3
1/2" tall. Another chick also stands upright
& measures 3" tall. The third chick is posed
with head down as if looking for feed & is 2
1/2" tall & 3" wide. Both sides of each
chick are printed & have beautiful colouring &
shaded detailing. The chicks are shades of
yellow & brown with varying shades of gray &
brown making up the colours of their feathered
wings. One chick has a minor age stain but it
blends in so much that it looks to be part of
the shaded design. The feathers, as well as
the eyes & beaks are beautifully & carefully
detailed. All three are in exc. condition,
stand upright, & are clean & firmly-stuffed
with no odors. A very appealing set to
display with antique dolls or a collection of

CHARMING ANTIQUE RABBIT
CANDY CONTAINER WITH WHEELS
Terrific antique cardboard & wood
candy container in the shape of a
rabbit. The bunny rabbit is 8
1/2" long from tip of nose to tail
& features the same print on both
sides applied to heavy cardboard
that retains bright & lively
colours, including the
realistic-looking gray/white
rabbit with pink eyes, pink shaded
ears, & a fancy shaded blue ribbon
bow at his neck. The rabbit is in
a crouching position & measures 3"
across. Between the two
identically-printed sides of the
rabbit lithograph applied to the
cardboard candy container, is a
section which originally would
have held candy but which now
holds the three chicks offered
elsewhere in these pages. (don't
the chicks look like they are
riding one of those "Himalaya"
rides that one sees at theme parks
and boardwalks, ha-ha?!) The
rabbit is just under 4" tall & has
four, red wooden wheels that still
turn with ease. There is minor
expected age wear to the rabbit &
some very small paper loss at the
nose on each side & slight loss to
a small section near the front paw
& first wheel on one side only.
It is hardly noticeable & does not
detract from the appeal & charm of
this rare piece. There are some
small, deliberate holes near the
nose which originally held the
pull-strings which made it a
pull-toy as well as a candy
container, but the original
pull-string is missing, although
easily replaced. The two panels
between the heavy cardboard rabbit
that form the container for the
candy are made of wood. A great
antique candy container for your
collection or to use as display

DELICATE ANTIQUE FRENCH
LACE & NET BONNET
Beautiful, gossamer antique French
lace & net bonnet is delicate & in
wonderful, mint condition!
Delicate cream lace forms the body
of the bonnet, which is lined with
fine lace netting & trimmed
with the same lace netting which
is edged with a trailing vine
pattern to frame the face
beautifully. Silk thread is
hand-embroidered into a beautiful,
multi-hued green vine from which
pale pink organza rosebuds meander
around the entire bonnet in a
beautiful trailing vine pattern.
Measurements with the bonnet
laying flat are approx. 6" tall by
6" wide with another 1" for the
face-framing ruffle. It will fit
an antique doll approx. 20-24"
tall, & has the orig. silk chin

ANTIQUE DOLL QUILT &
PILLOWCASE
A very nice antique quilt &
pillowcase set for your dolls'
cradle or bed. The quilt
measures 15 1/2" by 12 1/2" & is
both
machine & hand-sewn using muted
pastel squares primarily in
shades of pink, mint green,
light blue, cream, & gray. The
pink & cream gingham squares
have some quaint hand-embroidery
adorning them. The entire quilt
is hand-bound with a cream
cotton border & the back of the
quilt was crafted using one
printed fabric. The
accompanying cotton pillowcase
measures 7 1/2" by 5" & has a
pretty, tatted edge along the
opening. Both items are clean &
