18 1/2" FRENCH PAJAMA DOG
Wonderful French pajama dog c1920s
in excellent condition with
beautiful curly mohair in lustrous
condition---thick, clean & full.
Body is formed, hard papier-mache with
the dog posed in a lying position,
resting with paws exposed. Paws
are very realistically-formed &
covered with fur; long tail is wired
& stuffed with straw, covered with
same light curled mohair, & the head
swivels to enable one to turn it to
pose the dog to peer from different
angles. Beautiful brown glass eyes,
hard snout, original pink silk
ribbon adorning the neck & long
zipper underneath the dog for
storing pajamas or other treasures.
18 1/2" long from front paws to tail
& 9 1/2" tall to top of head. He
would make a great accessory for
posing with large antique dolls.

ORIGINAL STEINER SERIES
WIG/BLONDE MOHAIR SIGNED!
This
incredible orig. blonde mohair wig
originally belonged to a 24" Series
Steiner doll & is in exc. clean,
condition. Inside of wig cap is made
of folded, polished cotton & stamped
in blue, "SE'RIE V-12" with a
circumference of 13" around wig cap.
Some minor residual glue stuck to the
wig cap (see photo) but it is minimal
& does not detract from the wig's
value. Sewn center part, wavy curls
in back; appears never to have been
combed out, & is still nice & thick,
in a beautiful shade of blonde. I am
not certain why this wig is marked "SE'RIE
V" when the C series Steiner dolls are
incised "Sie" but "Se'rie" does mean
"series" in French & perhaps the Roman
numeral "V" stamped inside corresponds
to the size 5 Series dolls which were
24" dolls according to known sizes
reported in the McGonagle book on
Steiner dolls. A very rare wig that
would add much value to your Steiner

A superb 4-pc. antique,
coral-handled French Fashion manicure set which would be
lovely accessorizing your poupees' dresser or dressing
table. Each piece is 2 1/2" long; one piece has working
scissors, another a pointed & serrated nail file; there
is a blunt-edged piece, & one other grooming article. I
wish I had the box this set must've originally come
displayed in, but at least the pieces are mint & very
attractive to dress up your poupees vanity.

VINTAGE MINIATURE HAND MIRROR
Very
lovely & ornate vintage hand mirror to be used as an accessory for small
French bebes, German girls, or French Fashion dolls. Beautiful, intricate
design incorporates a gold metal rope twist design handle decorated with faux
pearls----one pearl is at the base of the handle & there is a cluster of
pearls in the shape of a flower at the point where the metal design
incorporates two intertwined branches of leaves with a single pearl at each
end of the branch. The design on the reverse of the hand mirror is exactly
the same Art Nouveau design as the front except that there are no pearls (and
never were) on the back. The looking glass is nice & clear & is easily held
by your dolls or placed on their dresser or vanity. Shown displayed with a

EARLY FACTORY STRAW DOLL HAT
Fantastic,
early factory-made wide-brimmed straw hat made of
finely-woven bands of straw, with the original,
airy gauze lining folded & sewn inside the crown,
& retaining the original outer pale pink silk
ribbon & chin ribbon. Shown modelled by a 17"
Tete Jumeau, the outer measurements of the hat are
9" x 10" & the diameter of the crown opening is 3
3/4" with a little flexibility to go 4".
The crown height is 1 /3/4" tall &
recessed to give it the most appealing shape.
Mint condition & suitable for so many types of
antique dolls, from early dolls to character

EXTRAORDINARY ANTIQUE
FRENCH WIRED BONNET
One of the most ornate,
original antq. French bonnets
I've had in quite some time.
A 14" French poupee is
modelling to give an idea of
size, style, & scale, but it
is a little too large on her &
would be more
appropriately-sized for a
larger French Fashion or a
small French bebe. Aqua silk
over a wire frame & can be
shaped to fit; all-original
millinery trims & mint
condition silk. The ruched
pouf on top could use a stitch
or two where it is loose from
the top of the bonnet. Bonnet
looks to be mostly handsewn
but pleating is so fine & the
hat so highly-decorated it is
difficult to pick it apart to
see if there is machine-sewing
as well. The aqua is that
nice "Jumeau"-type shade used
on so many fine couture pieces
from that firm. The way it is
now shaped, it measures 4"
across from side-to-side, & is
3 3/4" high, which can be
adjusted. Superb antique
millinery confection for the
